History

Trophy Point Investment Group was founded in 2015 when a group of West Point graduates partnered together to share our business and investing experiences. We have developed a track record of delivering superior returns to our investors, raising funds, and participating in a wide range of projects from residential and commercial real estate to logistics.

For us, it's all about maintaining focus: on meeting and surpassing our long-term business goals, on creating opportunities for our partners, and on regularly reviewing and evaluating how we can maximize profitability and value.

A note about us: we are not licensed or regulated by any government entity. We are a private fund that simply seeks to finance investments that earn us an above-average return while reducing risk as much as possible. This focus directly helps the people/businesses we invest in as it also reduces their chances of losing their money. We have first-hand knowledge of every industry that we are invested in and are dedicated to understanding the latest trends, regulations, and the overall market environment. We use this expertise to deliver above-average returns to all of our investors and partners.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

Most commercial real estate is secure. There is always collateral and it serves basic needs, such as shelter (apartments and condos), basic services (retail and office), and storage (self-storage and industrial warehouse).

As a company, we've been involved in the purchase and renovation of $2 million in single family residential properties netting 18% plus across all deals.

RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE

The residential marketplace is opaque and successful investment requires expertise from those who are deeply entrenched in the particularities of the market. Our firm's vast experience is our best competitive advantage.

Two recent projects include: financing the renovation of buildings by leveraging the use historic tax credits to increase investor return and working with a developer to construct a multi-unit new build apartment complex in military community in the midwest.

HARD MONEY LENDING

Our loans are backed by collateral with lower loan-to-value (LTV) ratios than traditional loans. But, behind the curtain are fluctuating challenges in risk management—challenges that our firm stays two steps ahead of.

Our most recent hard money lending deals in the hospitality and commercial real estate sectors totaled over $10 million while providing market-beating returns to investors.

EQUIPMENT AND LEASE FINANCING

We provide financial solutions for small businesses and middle market companies in many industries, taking into account business cycles, seasonal needs, specialized equipment requirements and other factors which allows us to add value to bottom line while making for our investors.

Working closely with business partners and dealers, we helped to source equipment purchases at below market rates for a transportation industry client by leveraging $500,000 to finance company growth while earning above average rate of return to investors.

LOGISTICS & TRANSPORTATION

The world of logistics is ever growing and evolving. With the consistent introduction of varying revenue streams and changing technologies, the opportunity for profit grows, but so does the complexity. That’s where we come in.

Our experience in finance and M&A recently allowed us deploy money from outside investors to turn a 10 truck company into a thriving logistics firm with 50+ drivers and annual revenue upwards of $10 million.

GOVERNMENT CONTRACT FINANCE

Government contracting is a little bit like the Wild West. There’s a lot of potential, but the rules can seem convoluted and vague at best. We understand this and are uniquely placed to provide the startup capital that many contractors need before executing their contracts.

We incubated the development of a lending firm that since its inception has provided over $5 million in capital needed small business to get started on government contracts.
